Protection for Elytra (Now Fixed) lets chestplate protection enchantments apply to players who are gliding with an elytra.
What it does
Normally a chestplate's protection enchantments do not help a player wearing an elytra, because the elytra takes the place of the chestplate slot. This Fabric mod changes that so protection enchantments and their related effects can work while the elytra is worn. It adds a few more chestplate enchantments as well, so the elytra has more options than the vanilla set.
The mod covers projectile protection and blast protection, which fits PvP, explosions from crystals or TNT, and fights where arrows and fireballs are common. It is a server and client mod: the server applies the protection logic and every player needs it too. It is published only for 1.21.11, with the latest Fabric file dated 2026-02-02. No required dependency is listed for Fabric.
