Powerborne Heroes turns players into Marvel and DC characters, each with its own suit variants, skill tree and set of abilities, and runs on Fabric and Forge for 1.20.1.
What it does
Players take on a hero, and each hero carries a distinct ability set that grows as the player earns XP by fighting with powers. Skill trees bring in new abilities and suit variants, and the open power screen shows each skill's description. Heroes are drawn from comics, movies and animated series, with several cosmetic options per hero. Changing into a suit changes its look and the abilities that go with it.
Suits can be displayed on armor stands, where players switch between variants. The world can be explored to find structures with loot. Scrolls can be worn through the Palladium accessories menu, and each one grants a random accessory when used with a right click. Scrolls drop from certain hostile mobs and can also be bought from the Wandering Trader. A Kryptonian Whistle summons Krypto Super-Dog as a companion.
Powerborne is a Palladium-based superhero addon. It needs Architectury API, Geckolib, KubeJS, Palladium, Pehkui and Rhino, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. Builds exist only for 1.20.1, with 0.5.1 as the latest file for both loaders.

Skill trees and XP
Combat with powers earns XP, which levels up a skill tree and grants new abilities for the hero.
Suit variants
Each hero has several suit variants with cosmetic options, and wearing a suit changes the abilities it gives.
Suit scrolls
Scrolls grant random accessories when right-clicked, and the effect is permanent for the player.
Super-Dog companion
A Kryptonian Whistle summons Krypto Super-Dog, a companion the player can keep alongside a hero.

Project Amazo is server-side only and Forge only, with files for 1.20.1 under All rights reserved, so players join without installing it. Satsu Iron man addon is a Palladium addon for Fabric and Forge that also needs both sides, and Dreyse Heroes is another client and server option for Fabric and Forge, under All rights reserved and not open source.
