PlayerReviveFabric
by tntnetta
PlayerReviveFabric changes instant death into a downed state, where a nearby teammate can revive the fallen player before a timer runs out.
What it does
When a player takes lethal damage, the mod keeps them in a critical state instead of ending their run at once. A downed player waits while someone nearby rushes over to revive them. A revive timer starts when the player goes down, and the revive has to happen before it expires, so the second a player goes down matters.
The mod is built for multiplayer play on Fabric servers, including survival SMPs, roleplay servers, boss fight events, creator servers, adventure maps and modpacks. It runs on the client and the server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric only, for Minecraft 1.20.1, with 1.0.0 as the latest file from 2026-05-03. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
Key features
Downed state on lethal damage
A player who takes lethal damage enters a critical state and stays in it instead of dying immediately.
Timed revive window
A revive timer starts when a player goes down, and teammates have until it runs out to bring them back.
Group rescue moments
A single fall can prompt nearby players to decide whether to rush in, which creates the close calls teams talk about.
Helps in many server styles
Teams can use the same revive rules on casual SMPs, hardcore-style servers, minigames and roleplay servers.

Use cases
Teamwork-focused survival servers
Groups that want a lost fight to cost a rescue rather than the whole inventory and progress can run the mod on survival servers.
Boss fights and chaotic events
During boss encounters or events where half a server can drop in seconds, a nearby player can bring a fallen teammate back.
Who it’s for: Server owners and player groups running multiplayer Fabric servers for 1.20.1 who want downed teammates to be revivable before they die completely.
