Player Souls
Player Souls lets a server turn a player's soul into a physical Player Soul item that can be extracted, held and used within the soul system.
What it does
Players can extract their own soul, which removes it from the player and gives them a Player Soul item in return. Soul items are the core of the mod: a default soul type carries a KillBlocked tag and a removable SoulControl tag, while a Summoned Soul and a special soul allow full interaction with the soul system. Admins have abilities of their own, including a force-extract option that takes a player's soul whether or not the player agrees, and the mod can be set to disable certain gamerules.
The design is aimed at multiplayer servers, but it also works in single-player for testing. Multiplayer interaction commands do not work in single-player. Bans last 7 days by default, and the ban length can be set through a gamerule. The mod requires BanHammer on every loader and is installed on both the server and every player, since the environment is client and server. It is published for Fabric, Forge and Quilt, with files for 1.19.2 and 1.20.1, and is not open source; the code is held under All rights reserved, though its source is public.
