Player Locator Settings adds a pause menu button that lets players adjust how their own waypoint appears to others, and the server controls the datapack that drives it.

What it does

A button named Player Locator appears on the pause menu. It opens a dialog where a player sets personal waypoint transmission range, style, color and visibility. Style offers only two default choices, and the range settings limit how far the waypoint is shared.

The datapack gives players control over their locator waypoint and runs on the server, so the server is the side that requires it. Players join without installing anything extra, and the client can optionally add the pause menu button. The mod uses the newer dialog system. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.21.6 – 1.21.10, and the code is not open source; it is released under All rights reserved.
