Player Changer (Name & Skin) lets a client display another name and skin for players in view, and covers up death messages on the local screen.
What it does
Player Changer runs on the client alone, so a player can set how other players look in their own game. It can replace a player's name and skin locally, and the text notes say it also covers death messages. The mod needs Tiers, and it is published for Fabric only, with 8 release versions 1.21.4 – 1.21.11 and the latest file for 1.21.11. The code is all rights reserved, so it is not open source.
Key features
Name replacement
A chosen player's name can be swapped for another name in the tab list and nametags, and the change stays on the local screen.
Skin replacement
The skin shown for a chosen player can be replaced, so that player looks different only to the person running the client.
Death message cover-up
Death messages can be hidden or covered on the local screen to keep a stream or recording tidy.
