With planifolia installed, a Fabric client keeps speedrunning-oriented Sodium behavior and vanilla video menus, and that is the purpose of the mod.

What it does

planifolia implements changes made in a speedrunning fork of Sodium, adding entity culling, fog occlusion and gamma options to the video settings, and fixes several differences from vanilla. Later versions of the mod run on the upstream Sodium, and the mod only works with the latest Sodium subversion for each Minecraft release. Sodium is an optional dependency, so the mod can run with or without it.

The mod is client-side only, so servers need nothing installed. It is published for Fabric alone, across 32 release versions 1.17 – 26.1.2, and the latest Fabric file is 1.2.3+26.1 for 26.1.2, dated 2026-05-23. The code is released under the MIT License and is open source, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
