Peakstep's Mysterious Enchantments
by moechakucha
Peakstep's Mysterious Enchantments adds a set of unusual enchantments for swords, boots and chestplates, several of them inspired by an enchantment mod for MarbleGate's Exotic Enchantment line.
What it does
Each enchantment changes how a piece of gear behaves rather than adding a flat bonus. Rockcrash, applied to boots, damages nearby entities and breaks blocks after a fall of a given height. Pre-Sharpening, applied to swords, raises damage and blocks weak attacks. Perfect Tinkering reduces the base damage a weapon deals and adds extra damage based on durability and mining level, so a lower durability and higher mining level produce higher damage. Crystal Wings, an extremely rare enchantment for chestplates, lets them behave like elytras. The mod also adds a few blocks alongside the enchantments.
Crystal Wings can only be found in End cities, and only with a low chance. The author describes the enchantments as unique but notes that some were balanced too strongly and others too weakly, and that the mod is still in development with bugs still present. Bugs can be reported on the issue tracker, which is a public link on the project page.
Installation covers the server and each player's game. It is published for Fabric and Quilt, with files for 1.19 and 1.19.1. The source code is open source under the MIT License, and snapshot builds are published as well.
