Phosphophyllite
by JEAMCube
Phosphophyllite is a Fabric, Forge and NeoForge mod that adds a fragile crystal mineral, tools made from it and a resource system spread across the Overworld and the Nether.
What it does
Phosphophyllite is the main mineral of the mod. Its crystal is fragile and breaks under ordinary use until it is reinforced with other minerals. Tools made from it start weak, with low durability and strength, and their resistance grows over time. Repairing these tools is also tied to the mineral, so the mod centers on upgrading gear rather than only crafting it.
The mod introduces additional minerals that can be mined in the Overworld and in the Nether, each with its own crafting possibilities. A stone stick serves as a simple crafting component for other tools and essential items. Tools combined with the special minerals gain strength, which lets players take on tougher mobs. The mod is aimed at survival play and adds challenge to adventures in existing worlds.
Client and server: the server and every player need the mod. Files exist for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across seven release versions, 1.12.2 and 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, and the license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source. The author states that the 1.12.2 build is no longer maintained and that the Forge build targets 1.20.1.
