Pantrywork
by SapperSquad
Pantrywork is a server-side library that makes food ingredient tags from several food mods share one naming scheme, so recipes can use each other's ingredients.
What it does
Food mods such as Farmer's Delight, Croptopia, Pam's and Brewin Chewin each name their cheese, salt or oil tags differently, and the dialects never reference one another. A recipe that asks for cheese takes exactly one pack's cheese, and a cooking oil from one mod is not accepted by a wok from another. Pantrywork bridges these dialects, with a tag layer that translates each mod's names into the shared convention.
Pantrywork follows the NeoForge c:foods convention and adds a second layer that describes what an ingredient does. It adds no blocks, items or gameplay changes; it is pure data. Its tags resolve canonical names such as c:foods/cheese and c:foods/raw_pork, and the bridge runs in both directions, so ingredients from one mod can satisfy recipes written for another. Fabric API is required on Fabric. Pantrywork is server-side only and works on NeoForge and Fabric for 1.21.1, 1.21.11, 26.1.2 and 26.2 builds.
Key features
Shared food tags
Cheese, salt, oil and other food tags from about twenty-one food mods map onto one shared set of names.
Two-way bridging
Recipes from one mod accept ingredients from another, so a Meadow cheese recipe can take a Brewin Chewin cheese.
Canonical food names
Plural, concatenated and underscored tag dialects all resolve to canonical names such as c:foods/corn and c:foods/oranges.
Cooking oil compatibility
A wok that checks for a specific oil tag can accept oils from other mods, so one chest of oils serves them all.

What the author says
Croptopia has cheese. Pam's has cheese. Meadow has cheese. Brewin' & Chewin' has cheese. None of them are the same cheese — they all tag their food, in four incompatible naming dialects that never reference each other. So the recipe that wants cheese takes exactly one of them, and your pack quietly runs parallel food…
