Power Screenshot is a client mod that captures high resolution normal, panoramic, skybox and GIF screenshots from the game.
What it does
Power Screenshot adds a client command that takes screenshots at a higher resolution than the game window allows. Normal shots, panoramic shots, skybox shots and short GIF recordings are covered. The mod runs only on the client, so a server does not need it and players join without installing anything.
The panoramic mode works by rotating the view through 360 degrees, taking a series of screenshots and stitching them into one image. The command takes the starting yaw, the field of view, the screen height and a frame delay as options. A pause during filming keeps the scene from changing between frames. Skybox output can be used as a custom title screen background once a metadata file is placed next to it.
The mod is published for Forge and NeoForge across 7 release versions, covering 1.19.2 – 26.2. The latest Forge file is 1.0.1 for 1.20.1, and the latest NeoForge file is 1.0.2 for 26.2. Power Screenshot is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later, and its source code and issue tracker are public.

Shots are taken as the view turns through a full circle, then combined into one wide picture.
Fast and precise modes
Fast mode takes fewer frames and may show flaws when the field of view exceeds 60 degrees. Precise mode takes one column at a time and is the recommended setting.
GIF recording
A GIF can be started and stopped with the command, or recorded for a fixed duration of 2 seconds at 10 frames per second by default.
Skybox title screens
Skybox screenshots can be saved as a custom title screen background under a namespace's textures folder.
