OxidizeAnyway
by Noxel
OxidizeAnyway removes the proximity slowdown that normally spaces out how fast copper blocks oxidize, while keeping vanilla timing otherwise.
What it does
In vanilla Minecraft, copper oxidation slows down when copper blocks are placed close together. This Fabric mod lifts that spacing rule so oxidation proceeds at the normal random-tick pace and stage multipliers, which keeps the vanilla feel intact. Its changes stay within the oxidation code, and they apply to every oxidizable copper form, including whole blocks, cut variants, slabs, stairs, doors, trapdoors, grates and bulbs.
Waxing and scraping behave as before. Waxed copper does not age, and axes and honeycomb work normally. The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing it, and it requires Fabric Loader and Fabric API. Its code is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which places it in the public domain, and it is not open source. Files exist for 1.21 – 26.1.2, and the latest Fabric file is 1.0.3 for 26.1.2.
Key features
Unspaced oxidation
Copper blocks oxidize without the slowdown that applies when they sit near one another in vanilla.
Full copper variant coverage
Cut blocks, slabs, stairs, doors, trapdoors, grates and bulbs all follow the same oxidation path as full blocks.
Vanilla waxing and scraping
Wax, honeycomb and axes keep their normal roles, and waxed copper stops aging as in the base game.
Narrow scope
The change is limited to oxidation logic, so other copper behavior and unrelated mechanics are left alone.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players and server owners who build with copper and want oxidation without the spacing rule. Because the mod is server-side only, it suits multiplayer servers where clients do not need to change anything.
How it compares
AutoOxidize is a Fabric client-side only mod with an MIT License, open source, for 1.21 – 1.21.5. Copper Cutting belongs to a different group, a server-required mod with a Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 license that loads on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 1.21 – 26.3.
