Overweight Farming
by Binome
Overweight Farming adds oversized crop variants that vanilla plants can grow into, along with peeling, juicing and composting steps for the harvest.
What it does
Plants such as beets, carrots, potatoes and the bean family may turn into Overweight Crops, and breaking one returns more produce than a regular crop. During the Moonlight phase the chance rises. Nether wart can also grow into an overweight variant, and overweight apples can appear on big oak trees.
Crops are handled with an axe, which peels them. Peeled melons can be emptied of seeds with a right-click, and a bottle used on a peeled melon yields juice. Peels can be given to pigs or used as compost. Overweight potatoes baked on a heat source become poisonous. Overweight crops can also be placed in pots.
Installation needs the Fabric, Forge or NeoForge loader for the matching build. Files cover game versions 1.18 – 1.21.1 with 11 release versions, and the code is covered by All rights reserved, so the project is not open source.
