Op Ore Loot
by ItsNazuki
Op Ore Loot replaces the usual drops from ore blocks with a randomized gacha system that pays out gear and potions after a set number of mined blocks.
What it does
Instead of standard resources, mining ore builds up a pity system progress counter. Once the player reaches the required target, the mod grants loot described as heavily overpowered, including gear at maximum enchantment level and custom potions. Four tiers set how many blocks each target needs, from 10 blocks at tier 1 down to 2 blocks at tier 4.
The mod is built natively on standard Minecraft mechanics, with its logic wrapped in a data pack and a Fabric loader layer, so it stays within the game's normal limits without heavy background processes. Progress is shown in real time in the action bar above the hotbar rather than in a menu screen, so nothing blocks the view while mining. Server owners install it on the server, and players can join with the mod absent.
Op Ore Loot requires Fabric for version 1.21.11, and files for 26.1 – 26.2 cover the 1.21.11 – 26.2 range. It is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license and is not open source.
Key features
Gacha ore drops
Ore blocks no longer give their usual items, and each mined block adds to a hidden pity counter instead.
Four target tiers
Targets require 10, 6, 4 or 2 blocks, so the number of ores needed for a reward depends on the tier.
Overpowered rewards
Targets pay out gear with limit-breaking enchantments and custom potions in place of basic supplies.
Action bar progress
Pity progress updates live in the action bar above the hotbar, without menus or screens covering the game view.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Survival progression
Players in survival mode can use the ore loop to reach strong equipment earlier than standard mining would allow.
Who it’s for: Survival players who want a mining loop built around chance rewards, and server owners looking for a gacha-style ore system without extra screens or heavy processes.
How it compares
KGachaCraft is a server-required, client-optional gacha mod for 1.21.11 that runs on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt and is not open source. Ore's O' Plenty is a Fabric mod for 26.1.2 that runs on client and server and is licensed under the MIT License without being open source. Op Ore Loot covers a wider version range on Fabric alone, and players and servers need it on the same loader.

What the author says
Op Ore Loot completely changes how you interact with ores. Instead of just getting standard resources, every ore you mine builds up your Pity System Progress. Once you hit the required target, you will be rewarded with wildly OP (Overpowered) loot, including max-level enchanted gears and custom custom potions!
