Oddysey Craft adds a fantasy-themed set of biomes, two new dimensions and a villager profession to Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge.
What it does
Players start a survival world, find a village and then explore the new purple fantasy biomes the mod generates. Four new biomes are included: Azure Fairy Forest, Purple Peak Forest, Emerald Rainforest and Whispering Woods. The Fairyland dimension can be reached only through a portal, and the Emerald Enclave dimension is reached through a portal built from emerald blocks, which was added in version 1.0.1.
To open the Fairyland portal, a portal frame is built from a block called Azure Fairy, and the portal is ignited with an item called the Awakened Violet Veinstone Gem. The Emerald Enclave portal is made from emerald blocks in the same way as a nether portal, and an emerald heart can be crafted into items used in that dimension. The mod also adds a new villager profession, the Adventurer, which a villager takes up by visiting a Ritual Table. Adventurers trade items with players, and many other items and blocks are included.
Oddysey Craft is a client-side only mod: only the client needs it, and servers run without it. It is published for Forge only, with a single game version, 1.20.1. The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source. The latest file is 1.0.1 for 1.20.1, dated 2024-06-29, and the author is a solo developer who updates the mod as often as time allows.
