Numismatic Coin Addon
by CallMeLoxy
Numismatic Coin Addon, a Fabric addon for Numismatic Overhaul, adds two higher-tier coins, the Emerald Coin and the Diamond Coin, above the existing currency.
What it does
The addon keeps the original Numismatic Overhaul structure intact: Bronze, Silver and Gold coins stay unchanged. It continues the same 100:1 progression, so 100 Gold Coins make one Emerald Coin and 100 Emerald Coins make one Diamond Coin. Each new coin uses Minecraft-style visuals, matching the look of the base coins.
The coins are aimed at economy-focused servers, shops and modpacks where Gold Coins stop being practical for large balances. Storing, converting and displaying very large sums becomes easier with the higher denominations. The addon extends the existing system rather than replacing it, so servers that already run Numismatic Overhaul can add it without changing the base coin values.
A config file is generated when the game starts. It sets the maximum stack size of the Diamond Coin, with a default of 21 for safer compatibility with large currency values. Changing that value requires a full game restart. The mod runs on the client and the server, so both sides need it.
