Nova's Shop

by NovaMairon

Nova's Shop is a Fabric marketplace where players list items for sale, buy from each other and collect expired listings from a tabbed screen.

FabricClient and serverMIT License1.21 – 1.21.1

What it does

Players browse, buy, sell and manage listings through a three-tab interface. Active sales show an expiration timer, and items that did not sell or have expired wait in a read-only storage tab where they can be withdrawn. Items placed there cannot be carried into a backpack or extra inventory, which keeps the server balance intact.

Server owners choose a percentage that is taken from each sale and routed into a server treasury account, along with how long listings stay up by default and how many items one seller may list at a time. Built-in virtual currency handles every transaction, and the currency and treasury commands let admins add or check player balances and view the accumulated taxes. The mod works with Integrated Economy.

Nova's Shop is published for 1.21 and 1.21.1 with the latest Fabric file at 1.0.1 for 1.21.1. It needs Fabric API. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The code is under the MIT License, and the project is not open source.

Key features

  1. Tabbed trading screen

Buying, selling and retrieving expired items each have their own tab in one interface.

  2. Automatic categories

Items are sorted into Combat, Armor, Tools, Consumables and Misc, so listings are easier to scan.

  3. Sales tax to the treasury

A set percentage of each sale is collected into a global server account that admins can use to manage funds.

  4. Listing limits and expiry

Server owners control the default listing duration and a cap on how many items one seller can have up at once.
