NoJumpDelay+
by Wlenzyxx
NoJumpDelay+ removes the short pause vanilla Minecraft places between jumps, so a player can jump again the moment they land.
What it does
Vanilla Minecraft holds a jump back for a moment after the player lands, which slows momentum during fast movement. NoJumpDelay+ takes that hardcoded delay out, so jumping can be repeated without deceleration and fluid, continuous motion stays possible. The change touches only the jump timing and leaves other movement rules alone.
The mod targets Minecraft 1.21.4 and runs on the Fabric loader, with Fabric API needed as its library layer. Only the client needs it, so a player can use it in singleplayer worlds and on multiplayer servers without the server installing anything. Files cover 1.20.1, 1.21 and 1.21.4 across three release versions, with 1.0.0 for 1.20.1 as the latest Fabric file, and the mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
Key features
Continuous jumping
Jumping can be repeated instantly after each landing, without the built-in pause that slows the player.
Fluid movement
Removing the delay keeps momentum steady across consecutive jumps, which suits parkour routes.
Singleplayer and multiplayer
The jump change works in local worlds and on servers, since only the player's client applies it.
Lightweight design
The mod changes a single timing rule and adds no new blocks, items or interface screens.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Parkour courses
Jump sequences that depend on quick repeated jumps play without the pause between them.
Competitive PvP
Players who move fast in combat arenas can keep jumping without waiting for the vanilla delay to end.
Who it’s for: Players who run parkour maps or fast PvP servers and want jumping that follows their input without the built-in pause. Players on 1.20.1, 1.21 or 1.21.4 with Fabric installed can use it.
How it compares
Jump Delay Fix addresses the same vanilla delay, but it is open source under the Apache License 2.0 and covers Fabric and NeoForge for 1.21.9 – 26.3, so it targets newer releases than NoJumpDelay+. Fixed Shields is a client-side Fabric mod for 1.21.10 under All rights reserved and changes shield behavior rather than jump timing. Both are client-side only, like NoJumpDelay+, which keeps the same environment.
