Nobody Asked
by Knarfy
Nobody Asked, by Knarfy, is a NeoForge cursed mod that adds a Grandma Villager profession, a pecking bird and screaming bees to a 1.21.1 world.
What it does
Nobody Asked is a chaotic mod for NeoForge 1.21.1. The content is intentionally strange, including a Grandma Villager profession that ships with a Grandma's Rocking Chair, a tiny bird called Gerard that steals potatoes, and bees that let out a scream. Block placement is guarded by confirmation pop-up boxes, and the mod adds more features beyond those listed.
The mod needs GeckoLib, which must be installed alongside it. Installing it on a client and a server is required, since the environment is client and server. The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source. Only the 1.21.1 build is published, at version 1.0.2, dated 2025-01-22.
Many features work in survival mode, and creative mode is encouraged for exploring them. The mod can destroy things in a world, so the author advises backing up a world before adding it.
Key features
Grandma Villager profession
A villager can take up the Grandma profession, which comes with a Grandma's Rocking Chair as its workstation.
Gerard the bird

Placement confirmation

Use cases
Creative exploration
Creative mode lets players try the features without survival pressure, as the author suggests.
Chaos on a survival world
Players who want a joke-heavy survival run can add the mod to an existing save, after a backup.
Who it’s for: Players who want a deliberately silly add-on for a 1.21.1 NeoForge world, and server owners willing to accept GeckoLib and the changes the mod makes to villagers and animals.
How it compares
Knarfy Mod beta is also by Knarfy, runs on NeoForge 1.21.1 in a client and server environment and is released under the MIT License, but is not open source. Pointless Emeralds Stuff covers only 1.21.4 and is under All rights reserved, so it does not share this version. Are You Sure? is the widest option, with Fabric, Forge and NeoForge files for 1.14.4 – 1.21.1 under the MIT License.
