No Wasting Rockets
by Trimpsuz
No Wasting Rockets stops firework rockets from being used up when they only launch effects into the air, so they are kept for elytra boosting.
What it does
Normally a firework rocket is consumed whenever it is launched, even when no elytra flyer is near it. This Fabric mod changes that behavior so rockets used purely for visual effects in open air are not spent. The mod is client-side only, so only the player's game needs it, and it can be installed by placing its JAR file in the mods directory inside the .minecraft directory, then launching the game.
The mod is configured through a Cloth Config screen with three toggles. One switches the whole mod on or off and is enabled by default. A second forces rockets to boost an elytra even when the player is looking at a block, and a third allows boosting with the explosion effect of a firework. Its required dependencies are Cloth Config API, Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin. The code is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and the project is open source with public source code and an issue tracker. Files target 1.21.1 only and were first published on 2024-09-16.
