Netherite Vault
Netherite Vault adds extra Netherite loot to the Ominous Vault reward pool, so opening a vault can yield Netherite items without changing how players get Netherite in the nether.
What it does
Each Netherite item added by the mod has its own independent drop chance in the Ominous Vault loot table. The pool covers items from Ancient Debris, Netherite Scraps and Netherite Ingots through to Netherite equipment and, rarely, a Netherite Block. The vault keeps its standard rewards, and the mod does not take the place of nether exploration as the main source of Netherite.
The mod is a server-side datapack, so only the server needs it and players join without installing anything. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the same datapack form is available separately. Files cover 1.21.11 – 26.2 across five release versions, and snapshot builds are published. The mod is open source under the MIT License, and public links exist for the source code and the issue tracker.
Key features
Netherite in vault loot
Netherite items join the Ominous Vault reward pool as extra possible drops.
Independent drop chances
Each added Netherite item rolls its own chance, so opening a vault stays varied.
Standard rewards kept
The vault loot that is already in the game stays in the reward pool, with the new entries added to it.
Rare Netherite Block
A Netherite Block is included in the table at a very low chance, so it is a rare outcome.

Use cases
Server reward tuning
Server owners can add Netherite to vault rewards for a survival world, while keeping nether exploration as the main source.
Datapack installs
Those who prefer not to add a mod can place the datapack zip into the world's datapacks folder instead.
Who it’s for: Server owners and survival players who want Ominous Vault openings to be more rewarding. The server needs the mod, and clients can join without it.
How it compares
Vault Recipe is a server-side mod for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, covering 1.21 – 26.3 under All rights reserved and not open source. No Fire Aspect is server-side, uses the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and covers 1.21 – 26.2. Netherite Vault shares the server-side environment with both, but it is open source under the MIT License and changes vault loot rather than recipes or enchantments.
