NekoUI
by nokarin
Players who want a different main menu, HUD and background can use NekoUI, a client-side UI customization mod for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt.
What it does
NekoUI focuses on customizing the Minecraft interface, covering layout, background visuals and the main menu. Its customizable backgrounds offer a wide set of looks, and it can replace the main menu and HUD elements. Background images are loaded and rendered through the mod rather than the vanilla pipeline.
The mod is a client-side only install, so only the player's game needs it; servers run without it. Shader mods that alter interface layers or add effects to flat elements may conflict with NekoUI, as may other mods that change how the interface background is drawn. Overlapping elements or broken backgrounds can appear in that case, so the mod list should be checked for UI-altering conflicts.
NekoUI requires Fabric API and Mod Menu. Files are published for 1.20 – 1.21.11 across Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the latest build, v1.0.3, targets 1.20.6. The license is a custom one, and the code is not open source. The project has a public issue tracker.
