Neatly Better
Neatly Better is a Fabric vanilla-plus mod that refines and rebalances several of Minecraft's farming, combat and interface mechanics.
What it does
Right-clicking a fully grown crop harvests it and replants it in one action, and a single hoe use clears a square of crops nine blocks wide. Rain speeds up several plants growing under open sky, bonemeal reaches more crops than usual, placing wheat seeds on a dirt block turns it into grass, and fallen saplings plant themselves before they despawn. Rotten flesh can be composted, and the attack cooldown is removed entirely.
Feather Falling boots keep players from trampling farmland, and a Map Builder and special collar mechanic let players revive fallen wolves and style them with emissive armor trim effects. Bug fixes correct details such as an off-center crosshair, and optional HUD additions show coordinates and potion timers without extra mods. The mod runs on client and server. Fabric API and Forge Config API Port are required, Mod Menu is optional, and the code is released under the MIT License, so it is open source. Files target the current range across five release versions, and the latest Fabric build is 0.9.8+26.3-fabric for 26.3, published 2026-10-08.

Use cases
Farm upkeep
Players who harvest large fields can replant and collect with fewer clicks, and boots keep farmland intact.
Who it’s for: Players who want smaller quality-of-life changes to vanilla farming, combat and interface behavior, on single-player worlds or multiplayer servers.
How it compares
Sugar cane+ is client and server with the same MIT License and does not focus on crop replanting. Simple Right-Click Harvest is server-side only, so players join without installing it, and Right Click Plants is client-side only, so it changes nothing on a server. InfiniteSugarCane is client and server and targets 26.2 only, while Neatly Better covers a wider span of releases.
