Music Player Mod

by Ansh_Sharma

Music Player Mod lets players in Minecraft play their own custom songs through a simple in-game player window, reading files placed in a songs folder.

FabricClient-side onlyAll rights reserved1.21.11

What it does

Songs are added by placing files in the songs folder, and the Add Song button opens that folder directly from the in-game interface. Custom .ogg files are played, and the songs can be reloaded without restarting Minecraft, so new tracks show up while the game is running.

The mod is built for Fabric and targets only the 1.21.11 game version, with the latest file v0.1-alpha published on 2026-03-18. It is client-side only, so only the player needs it and a server can run without it. No required dependency is listed for Fabric.

The author describes it as a lightweight early alpha. Bugs are known to exist, and the author asks for bug reports and suggestions. Planned future updates include MP3 direct support, a volume slider, a loop button, a playlist system, a random song button and performance improvements.

Key features

  1. In-game music player

A simple player window lets the user start, pause and choose custom songs without leaving the game.

  2. Custom song files

Own .ogg tracks are played from the songs folder, so the music is not limited to built-in sound sets.

  3. Add Song button

The interface has a button that opens the songs folder, making it easier to place new files.

  4. Reload without restart

Songs can be reloaded while the game is open, so newly added tracks are available right away.
