More Music Disk - Official NetherRP Datapack

by Nicolol1234

More Music Disk - Official NetherRP Datapack is a data pack that adds a small set of music disc items to a Minecraft world, mainly for servers running the NetherRP resource pack.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalCreative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.01.19.4 – 26.2

What it does

The pack adds a small set of music discs, including tracks named Spooky Scary Skeleton, Kain Vinosec, Nothing Battles Fight Quiesence, Nothing Battles Endure Emptiness, Stranger Things and Galshi Revolution. The discs are delivered as a data pack, so no mod code runs in the game itself.

Server owners who already run another resource pack can merge it with Mitochondria, which the author names as the route for combining resource packs. Issues are reported on the project's GitHub issue tracker.

The server needs the pack installed, while a client can join without it. Builds are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, covering 1.19.4, 1.20, 1.20.1 and 26.2, and the code is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0, so it is not open source.

Key features

  1. Added music discs

Several music disc items with custom tracks join the vanilla jukebox set.

  2. Themed track list

The discs carry track names tied to the NetherRP setting, such as Stranger Things and Galshi Revolution.

  3. Resource pack merging

The author describes a route for combining this pack with another resource pack through Mitochondria.

  4. Public issue tracker

Bugs can be reported on the project's public GitHub issue tracker.

Use cases

Who it’s for: Server owners who want extra music discs for a roleplay world. Players only need the server's resource pack, not the datapack itself.
