More Magic
Players who want enchanted gems, staffs and warp conduits can add More Magic, a Forge mod for 1.20.1 that adds magic items and tools to the game.
What it does
The mod introduces a set of magical gems, among them the Aether Gem, Eldritch Gem and Cryptic Gem, which are found in the world and used in crafting to make items such as the Ancient Staff and the Arcane Wand. Gems are meant to be collected over time, and the crafted results are the main reason to gather them.
Several equipment items cover different parts of play. The Dragon Blaster fires fiery attacks, the Witch Hat grants health regeneration while worn and can apply poison damage, and the Sonic Shrieker releases a sonic boom that damages nearby enemies. The Infernal Forge converts quartz and coal into diamond over a period of about two minutes, and the Morphic Copperforge upgrades iron and gold pickaxes.
Warp Conduits link two portals so the player can travel between distant locations, and the Desert Vortex and the Witch Hat drops are found during exploration. More Magic is client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It is published for Forge only, with its latest file for 1.20.1.
