Modget is a Fabric utility for installing, searching and updating mods from inside Minecraft, using commands rather than a separate launcher.

What it does

Modget works as a Minecraft Mod Package Manager. Players and server owners can install mods with commands, search the available catalog, and check for updates, among other functions. The mod is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and it is published for Fabric across 11 release versions, 1.16 – 1.18.2. Either side can run it, and neither needs it. Since version 0.2.2 it no longer bundles Server Translations API, so a dedicated server that runs Modget should install that library separately, otherwise chat messages appear as gibberish.
