models
by mr-chibi
Models is a Technology and utility mod from mr-chibi that lets creative players build, customize and place custom 3D models in the world.
What it does
Creative players can customize models by type and texture, with more than 1000 customization options. A model wiki guide by Mr_Chibi walks players through creating their own models step by step. Once enabled for a creative player, the model admin tools hand out items freely and allow models to be placed, removed and changed, including their textures, and can override other models.
Commands cover model work such as selection, removal, schematic copy and paste. Schematic pieces are saved as paper items that hold NBT data, textures and specific models, so a build can be stored and placed again. Models is required on the server and optional on the client, and it is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. Files exist for 26.1.2, with 11 release versions across 1.21.4 – 26.1.2. The code is covered by All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
