mcs_permissions gives server owners a permission and rank layer for vanilla servers, delivered as a server-side mod with Mr Chibi's Permissions Essentials datapack content.
What it does
The mod targets servers that run vanilla Minecraft and want control over who can use which commands. Its rules are built around ranks, warps and a limited creative mode, so an owner can decide which players may build freely and which may only travel. Mr Chibi's Permissions Essentials is included as a datapack, which makes it available on Realms and on platforms such as Spigot and Paper where a datapack is the more common option.
Singleplayer and multiplayer both work, so a world can be set up the same way whether one person plays or many. The server is the only side that needs the mod, and players join without installing anything. Files cover Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.18.2 – 1.21.11, with 1.21.11+mod for 1.21.11 as the latest file on each loader. The code is not open source; it is released under All rights reserved, and public links exist for the source, the issue tracker and the wiki.
