by mysticpasta1

Mo' Blocks is a Fabric decoration mod that adds a set of simple decorative and useful blocks, including potion shelves and kitchen counters.

What it does

Mo' Blocks adds a collection of decorative and practical blocks to Minecraft. Its content includes potion shelves, kitchen counters, ramps, arches and pillars, along with colorable lava lamps, sirens, candle lights, neon and glowing neon blocks, and signal tower lights. Rainbow blocks cycle through colors at different speeds, and an ink block takes a color too.

The mod works on the client and the server, so both need it. Its only loader is Fabric, and its latest file, published 2022-02-10 on the beta channel, targets game version 1.18.1. The code is open source under the MIT License. The author notes that the mod adds thousands of models, which OptiFine does not handle well.

Key features

  1. Potion shelves and kitchen counters

Shelf and counter blocks for storing potions and furnishing kitchen spaces.

  2. Colorable lighting blocks

Lava lamps, sirens, candle lights, neon blocks, glowing neon blocks and signal tower lights can each be dyed.

  3. Rainbow blocks

Rainbow blocks cycle through colors, with a different speed for each variant.

  4. Chairs and sofas

Seating blocks let players sit, with a fix for an earlier bug that left a player stuck while trying to sit.
