Modern Mayhem, from TKG112, adds military armor pieces and accessories for Minecraft, with clip-on thermal imagers and first-person animations for the gear it introduces.
What it does
Modern Mayhem adds several military armors and accessories, each with its own armor points and backpack storage capacity, plus other parameters set per item. The equipment is built around realistic, authentic military styling, and its visuals are kept consistent with that look. Its Clip-On Thermal Imagers add a thermal view, and some items include an auto-gain function.
The mod is written for Forge and NeoForge and requires Curios API and Geckolib, so both must be installed alongside it. Modern Mayhem runs on client and server, so the server and every player need the mod. Files target 1.20.1 only, and the latest Forge and NeoForge builds are both version 2.0.1, published on 2026-09-21. The code is not open source, and the mod is released under All rights reserved, although the source code and issue tracker are public.
