Minecraft QoL
by Vanderflys
Minecraft QoL, by Vanderflys, is a server-required utility mod that adds automation and small convenience features to vanilla survival play.
What it does
Several recipe changes sit beside the automation features: sticks from stripped logs, a 3x3 charcoal block, coal blocks, iron nuggets, chainmail armor with the same crafting shape as regular armor, and a name tag recipe built from leather, iron nuggets and a lead. Mushroom blocks use the coal block recipe, and dirt with moss forms a carpet.
Three optional modules switch on separately: Chair lets a player sit on stairs or stand-like blocks after positioning themselves and right-clicking, with chairs despawning after a player leaves a small area. Telekinesis sends the drops from broken crops, logs and items straight into the inventory. Replanting and Deforestation work with a hoe or an axe in the main hand, respectively. Replanting covers wheat, carrots, potatoes and beetroot, and Deforestation breaks the logs around a felled tree.
The mod runs on Fabric, Forge and Quilt and is published for 1.20.2 – 1.20.4, with the latest v1.0.0 file for 1.20.4. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are public. A data pack form is also available for server platforms.
