Custom Guns
by Vanderflys
Custom Guns lets a server owner define new guns and throwables through a datapack, with stats set by ordinary commands in the chat menu.
What it does
Guns are built from datapack files, so a server can add weapons without writing Java. Each gun is made with a straightforward command setup, and anyone with operator permission can create one or change its settings. Players only need permission to use the guns, not to edit them. Throwables such as grenades are supported, and guns work both with and without a resource pack.
The mod is released for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, in a range that covers 1.20.2 – 26.3 with 19 release versions and snapshot builds published. The latest file for every loader is v2.3.0+mod for 26.3, dated 2026-09-17. The server must run it, while players may leave it out. Custom Guns is also available as a data pack for server platforms. All rights reserved; the code is not open source. The mod depends on no other mods.
