Meteors drops meteorite strikes onto the overworld at unpredictable intervals, turning a world into a survival challenge.

What it does

Meteors makes meteorites fall from the sky at irregular times. Players hear a distinctive sound as an impact approaches, which gives a short warning before the strike lands. The mod is built as a challenge layer for survival play and suits a new challenge world. Server owners who want their own copy of the effect would otherwise face a lengthy, tedious and costly process, so the mod covers that need.

The server must run Meteors, while players may leave it out of their installs. Files target 1.21 – 26.3 on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with a Data pack option for server platforms. The mod is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later, is open source, and has its source code published.
