Minecraft-Discord Protect is a NeoForge server mod that ties account registration and login to Discord MFA, with IP banning for staff.
What it does
Players register and log in through a Discord-based multi-factor check handled by the server. Staff can block a specific IP address from accessing an account when a suspicious login appears, and an IP ban can be applied without affecting global network access. Server owners and staff manage these tools through in-game slash commands, and a maintenance mode can be switched on globally.
The mod runs on the server alone, so players join without installing anything. Its built-in rate limits and MFA spam cooldowns are meant to stop automated prompt bombing, where a script floods a player with connection requests until they respond. Files are released for NeoForge 1.21.1, and the code is open source under the MIT License, with public access to the source and issue tracker.
