MCCI Utils is a Fabric client mod that adds notifications, chat mention alerts and custom toasts for players on the MCC Island server.
What it does
The mod watches for events in the game and reports them on screen. Friend joins can trigger a notification with a custom sound, and a chat mention of the player's name can play its own sound. Quest and achievement notifications appear as toasts, and the toast style can be customized. Duplicate chat messages are stacked into a single line with a counter instead of filling the chat window.
The utility is built around the MCC Island server, and its features are tied to that setting. Several small easter eggs are included. A change log check lets players see what changed between builds. Settings can be adjusted in game, but only when Mod Menu and Cloth Config API are installed, since those two optional dependencies provide the settings screen. Fabric API is required, and the mod is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so the code is open source and the source is public. Files cover 1.19.2, 1.19.3 and 1.19.4, with version 0.16 for 1.19.4 as the latest file, published 2023-04-06.
