Magic Conch Shell

by TravikSkoot

Magic Conch Shell adds a SpongeBob-inspired collection of items, sounds and gameplay features to Fabric, with a shell that answers yes-or-no questions after a drumroll.

FabricClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source26.1 – 26.3

What it does

Players use the Magic Conch Shell to ask a question. After a short drumroll, the screen shows one random answer and plays a custom sound. The shell can be obtained in several ways, including as loot from trail ruins and buried treasure chests, or by crafting it from eight Nautilus Shells and one Amethyst Shard.

The rest of the content is themed on the cartoon series: a Spatula that works as a sword, a Secret Formula, a Krabby Patty made from a Nasty Patty and the formula, and a World's Smallest Violin with its own sound and a short cooldown. Nasty Patties cannot be crafted and drop from undead mobs killed with the Spatula, including Zombies, Husks, Drowned and Zombified Piglins. Eating them applies effects. Custom advancements and loot table and crafting recipe integration tie the items into survival play.

The mod needs Cloth Config API and Fabric API. Mod Menu is optional and adds a config screen. Both the server and every player need the mod, since the environment is client and server. Magic Conch Shell is released under the MIT License and is open source. Files cover 26.1 – 26.3, with 26.3 the latest, and snapshot builds are published.
