Mace Port
by derexXD
Mace Port brings the Mace weapon from Minecraft 1.21 back to older versions, with its extra damage for long falls and three new enchantments.
What it does
The mod backports the Mace from Minecraft 1.21 into earlier releases. Its melee attacks deal more damage the farther the player has fallen before the hit, and the author states that the damage from falls accumulates without limit, so a single strike can kill a player. The mod adds the minecraft:mace and forge:mace tags so other mods can use the weapon too, and it adds two advancements tied to the new Mace enchantments. Density Breach is a bouncy enchantment, and the mod includes vanilla-friendly recipes for the items it adds.
Mace Port is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 16 release versions, 1.12.2 – 1.21.8. It is client and server, so the server and every player need it, and the code is under the MIT License and open source. The author notes list cross-mod compatibility as a goal, and the source code and issue tracker are publicly linked. The first release is dated 2026-06-16 and the latest update is dated 2026-09-21.

What the author says
The recent snapshot 24w12a brought us the Mace: a melee weapon that deals additional damage the farther the player falls! Thus, I decided to program a mod that would allow previous versions to enjoy this weapon as well, falling damage cancelling, enchantments and all!
