M1 - Machine One AI Interface
by Kishku7
M1 - Machine One AI Interface lets a local program drive the real running Minecraft client through a plain text socket on localhost.
What it does
The mod loads as an ordinary Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt mod and reads the real screen. A program connected to the local text socket can describe whatever screen, world or client text is active, and send text commands that operate menus, worlds, inventory and crafting. Because it runs inside the actual client, it reaches what protocol bots cannot: GUI mods and client-drawn screens are visible to it, and no version mismatch breaks the link.
Automation work is the main use: repeatable command sequences, such as gathering or crafting a tedious set of items, and test runs that follow a player experience on a live client. An optional server-side m1srv command adds server support, and either side can run the mod alone, so neither needs the other present. Fabric API is required. Snapshot builds are published alongside the release files for 1.20 – 26.3.
Key features
Text socket control
A terminal or AI agent connects over localhost and operates Minecraft entirely by typing text commands.
Real client screens
The mod reads the live window, so GUI mods and client-drawn screens are visible to the controlling program.
Scripted command sequences
Repeatable sequences of commands can gather or craft items without manual input.
Observation without fair-play bypass
The scan reports only what the player could see on screen and never exposes raw ores buried inside unexposed rock.

How it compares
MineAgent is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only, runs on Fabric and Forge for 1.20.1, and is client and server. Textcreator covers Fabric and Forge for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 and is client and server, with all rights reserved. PythonConnectMod is a client-side only Fabric mod for 1.21.4 under the MIT License, so only the client needs it.

It describes whatever screen or world is in front of the client as text, and accepts text commands to drive it -- so a human at a terminal, or an AI over a socket, can operate Minecraft entirely by typing.
