LunaBlur is a lightweight client-side motion blur mod for Fabric that adds a fullscreen blur effect to smooth out movement on screen.
What it does
LunaBlur applies a fullscreen motion blur while the player moves the camera. The author aimed for a simple effect that keeps motion feeling smoother without the heavier, cinematic look that some other blur mods use. Installation is a matter of placing the jar in the mods folder alongside Fabric API and Cloth Config API.
A keybinding toggles the blur off with H, so the effect can be turned off at any time without leaving the game. The B key opens the configuration menu, which is built on Cloth Config API. Mod Menu is optional and, when present, lists LunaBlur in its menu.
The mod is published for Fabric only, for the single version 1.21.11, with 1.0.0 as the latest file dated 2026-04-26. It is open source under the MIT License, and its source code is public. The author took inspiration from a mod by Noryea made for the same version.
