NeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.21.1

What it does

Players gain control over the light level of their building materials. Instead of placing torches or lanterns between blocks, a builder can use a block that already emits light while keeping the look of a familiar stone. The additions cover cobblestone, deepslate cobbled deepslate, deepslate bricks and tiles, the andesite, diorite and granite set, polished stone variants, calcite and tuff.

Lumineer is a NeoForge mod for 1.21.1 only, with the latest file 1.1.0 released on 2026-04-21 after a first publication on 2026-01-08. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Lit stone cobblestone

Cobblestone and stone get imbedded lit versions that fill walls and floors with even light.

  2. Lit deepslate variants

Cobbled deepslate, bricks and tiles each have a glowing counterpart for dark interiors.

  3. Lit andesite, diorite and granite

The three igneous stones come in light-emitting forms that keep their original colors.

  4. Lit polished stone

Polished stone variants are available with built-in light, so trim and accent blocks can glow.

  5. Lit calcite and tuff

Calcite and tuff, two natural blocks of the lush and dripstone areas, also have lit versions.
