Fake Blocks Mod

by Heesel

Players who want a secret passage or a trap that looks like ordinary ground can use this NeoForge mod, which adds decorative fake versions of vanilla blocks.

NeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.21.1

What it does

The mod adds blocks that look identical to vanilla blocks but let players and mobs walk straight through them. A fake variant is made by combining a supported vanilla block with a No-Collision Dust in a crafting table. More than 150 variants cover stone, deepslate, bricks, Nether, End, wood and planks blocks, so a hidden passage behind a bookshelf or a diamond-looking trap on a floor can be built from materials that match the surroundings.

The crafting recipe is survival-friendly, so the blocks are available in survival worlds without creative access. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Fake block variants

More than 150 variants look like real vanilla blocks, so a passage or trap blends into its surroundings.

  2. Walk-through collision

Players and mobs pass through the fake blocks, which makes secret passages and pranks possible.

  3. Craftable from vanilla blocks

A fake variant is crafted by combining a supported vanilla block with No-Collision Dust at a crafting table.

  4. Broad block coverage

Variants cover stone, deepslate, bricks, Nether and End blocks, wood planks, and more.

Traps and pranks

Who it’s for: Builders, map makers and survival players who want decorative blocks that can be walked through. Server owners running pranks or adventure maps can also use the variants.
