Luminance

Luminance is a library mod for Fabric and Quilt that gives other mods the shader support they need, so that developers do not have to write it themselves.
What it does
Luminance handles the rendering work that shader packs and other mods would otherwise implement on their own. It adds dynamic shader uniforms, which let post-processing shaders read information about what is happening in the game, and it ships with a set of default shaders that other mods can extend with their own. Luminance can also check whether Iris Shaders is enabled, which lets dependent mods adjust their behavior. Shaders used in earlier Minecraft versions are included in the mod.
Players only need to install Luminance when a mod they use requires it, such as Souper Secret Settings. The mod requires Fabric API and Seam. A client must run it, while a server can run without it. Luminance is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, with release builds for 1.20.5 – 1.21.11 and snapshot builds published alongside them.
