Lovely Robot: Reboot adds robot companions that fight alongside players, and Heria Zone revived the original mod with new robot designs for 1.21.1.
What it does
Robot companions take part in battles and provide offensive and defensive capabilities. Each robot can be customized, and the bunny robot is built as a cute, cuddly companion with large floppy ears and glowing eyes that still fights as a fierce warrior. Robots can be recolored with dye, and the mod's interaction tools cover most of the control a player needs.
Players set a robot to guard its current location, switch auto attack on or off with a sword, or place it in standby mode with an empty hand. A status summary and enchantment levels are shown with a book and a quill, and chat notifications for level-ups can be toggled with an oak button.
The mod needs Geckolib, which must be installed alongside it. Installation covers the server and each player's game. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the current release targets 1.21.1 under the MIT License, which is not open source.

Robot guard mode
A robot can be set to guard the spot where it is placed, so it stays near a chosen location.
Auto attack toggle
Auto attack can be switched on or off by left-clicking a robot with a sword.
Status and enchantments
Left-clicking a robot with a book shows its status summary, and a book and quill shows its enchantment levels.
Colour customization
Left-clicking a robot with dye changes its colour, so each companion can look different.
