Lovely Bites

by theblindbandit6

Lovely Bites lets players feed food held in the off-hand to other players, and adds strawberries and chocolate as small extras to the food set.

FabricClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source26.1.1 – 26.1.2

What it does

Holding food in the off-hand and using it on another player feeds that player, so food can be shared during play. The food keeps the properties it has in the player's hand, and a golden apple given this way still grants the potion effects and saturation it normally would.

Farmer villagers and wandering traders sell strawberry seeds, and once planted they grow into bushes that produce strawberries. Milk and cocoa beans can be crafted into chocolate, and strawberries can be combined into jam.

The mod is published for Fabric only, on 26.1.1 and 26.1.2, and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is released under the MIT License and is open source.

What the author says

The main feature of this mod is the ability to feed other players using food in your off-hand. This works with every food type and keeps the correct properties of the food you've fed.\ So you can feed a golden apple to someone and they'll obtain the potion effects from it as well as the food and saturation.
