LootRun
LootRun puts players into timed extraction raids, where they gather loot from random or custom dimensions and must reach an extraction point before time runs out.
What it does
Players prepare in a hideout, where they can trade, use storage, pick a contract and choose a map. Each raid assigns a main task on entry and offers up to five side contracts accepted at the quest terminal. Quest objectives can ask a player to kill named entities, gather particular items, scout a set location, hold a position, trigger blocks, or track down elite bosses. Rewards are granted only after a successful extraction. Failing a raid means losing most of what was found unless the player bought insurance, which covers up to four item stacks; insured equipment returns to the stash even when the raid fails.
Successfully extracted items go into a persistent global stash that holds permanent storage for gear and loot. The stash supports depositing, withdrawing, sorting, categorising and filtering. LootRun runs on Forge and is published for 1.20.1 – 1.20.6. Its code is under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only, and it is not open source. Client and server both need the mod.
Key features
Timed extraction raids
Raids end when the time runs out, so players must complete objectives and reach an extraction point in time.
Tactical terminal tracking
Right-clicking a holding terminal opens a tracking list of tasks, teammates and extraction points, and a selected entry can be tracked to show its direction and distance on the heads-up display.
Minimap toggle
Shift-right-clicking toggles a minimap in the top-left corner of the screen.
Insurance and loss
Items found in a raid are lost on failure unless insured, and temporary tactical terminal items disappear when a raid ends.
Hideout conditions
The hideout stays locked in daytime with clear weather, and hunger is restored automatically while hostile mob spawning and player-versus-player damage are prevented.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
