Lonsdaleite Tools (& Omnitool)

by kestalkayden

Lonsdaleite Tools adds two gear tiers of tools, weapons and armor, plus a single Omnitool that mines, chops, digs and tills.

What it does

Lonsdaleite Tools adds Lonsdaleite tier tools and armor to Minecraft. Two gear tiers are included, Lonsdaleite and Perfect Lonsdaleite, and the Perfect tier has durability well beyond Netherite. Each tier has full pickaxe, axe, shovel and hoe sets, along with full armor sets. The new ores are generated in the world, and a safe drop exists so existing worlds can gain them without losing progress.

A single Omnitool handles mining, chopping, digging and tilling in one item. Right-clicking strips logs, tills soil, flattens paths, and sneaking douses campfires. The weapon set covers a Dagger with very fast attacks that keep players swinging, a slow War Axe that one-taps when timed right, a reach Spear, and a Mace with vanilla smash mechanics and a heavier swing built from a breeze rod. The War Axe and the Dagger accept both sword and axe enchantments.

Build doorways and gates let players walk through freely while hostile mobs are blocked by an invisible wall, and mobs will not try to path through it. The mod runs on Fabric and NeoForge and needs Fabric API. It is open source under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, with the source code publicly available. Files cover 1.16 – 26.3 in 14 release versions, with the latest file for 26.3, and snapshot builds are published.

What the author says

Lonsdaleite adds two full tiers of tools, weapons, and armor forged from diamonds under fire and pressure. No new ores, no world generation — safe to drop into any existing world. Build doorways and gates that let you walk through freely — while every hostile mob hits an invisible wall. Mobs won't even try to path…
