Removed & Unused

by AceWayX

Removed & Unused brings back content that Minecraft developers cut from the game, adding decorative blocks, bricks, dyes and items from earlier builds to Forge and NeoForge on 1.20.1.

What it does

Several unused elements are restored as obtainable content. Among them are a set of brick variants made with a stonecutter, a wax block based on crystallized honey, and colorful planks. Rose and peony flowers are used to craft cyan and pink dye, and some blocks can be obtained in survival after the matching advancements are reached. The author describes the bricks as rare to find, since they spawn naturally only in small numbers.

The mod is installed on the client and on the server, so both sides need it. It is published for Forge and NeoForge, and only the 1.20.1 game version is covered, with the latest file dated 2026-02-15. The code is under the MIT License and is not open source. The author notes that a few planned items, such as a camera and more recipes, have not been added yet.
