Redev brings back content Minecraft removed, left unused or only mentioned in the game files, for players who want those features in 1.20.1.
What it does
Redev adds items, blocks and mobs that were cut from the game or referenced without being implemented. The mod is based on vanilla Minecraft and aims to expand it with the ideas the author says should have been added. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Forge is the only loader, and files are published for 1.20.1, with 5.5.3 as the latest build from 2026-03-31. The license is Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0, so the mod is not open source.
