Let Me Click And Send for Server
by ZhuRuoLing
Let Me Click And Send for Server restores the chat-send behavior of click events that Minecraft 1.19.1 removed, for servers and their players.
What it does
Starting in 1.19.1, a run_command click event could no longer be followed by another chat message, because the game rejects any command that is not a valid one. This mod lifts that restriction, so a click can trigger a command and also send a chat message to the server the way earlier versions did.
The change is made on the server alone. Instead of sending the text as given, the mod generates a random five-character server-side command made of letters and digits and uses it in the click event, then detects the real command when the action value does not start with that prefix. Players need nothing installed, and the client keeps running the intended command. The maximum length of a run_command action drops from 256 to 249 characters because of the prefix.
The mod is published for Fabric only, across 12 release versions 1.19.1 – 1.21, with 1.0.1 for 1.21 as the latest file. It is open source under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are public. Bug reports and suggestions can be filed on GitHub.
Key features
Restores chat after click
A click event that runs a command can also send a chat message to the server, matching the behavior from before 1.19.1.
Generated command prefix
The server wraps each run_command action in a random five-character command so the client can still run the real one.
Real command detection
Actions whose value does not begin with the generated prefix are recognized and replaced with the generated command.
Reduced action length
The maximum length of a run_command action is cut from 256 to 249 characters to make room for the prefix.

How it compares
Webcommands is client-side only, open source under the Apache License 2.0, and built for Fabric on 1.20.1 – 26.3, so it changes what the player's client does rather than the server. Join Actions is also client-side only and open source under the Apache License 2.0, but it covers 1.21.10 – 26.2 and does not overlap with this mod's version range. Let Me Click And Send for Server is server-side only and needs no client installation.

What the author says
In vanilla 1.19.1+ you cannot say anything after clicking because hi is not a valid command (a command shall start with /). With this mod, you will automatically send a hi message to the server after clicking, which is the same behavior as previous versions of Minecraft.
